A cyclist suffered serious head injuries after a collision outside of a primary school.
The rider, a 27-year-old man, was on a Dawes 14-speed pedal cycle and collided with two vehicles, a Suzuki Carry and a Ford Kuga, the drivers of which were both unhurt.
The cyclist was initially taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, but was later transferred to Hurstwood Park neurological centre at Haywards Heath where he is now recovering following surgery.
The incident happened outside Coombe Road Primary School, Brighton, on Wednesday at 11.16pm.
