SPORTING heroes turned out for the launch of a new estate agent that prides itself on being part of the community.
My Lets reputation is already well established in the city - but now it is bringing its experience to sales with My Sales.
Friends in the sporting world helped kick-off the venture, with former Albion manager Dean Wilkins and past player of the season Adam Virgo joined by ex-British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Scott Welch at the formal opening in Preston Park.
Sussex cricketer Lewis Hatchett was also there to add to the sporting theme.
The family-run, independent venture is being run by Roy and Jack Pook, sons of successful former Peacehaven, Burgess Hill and Withdean manager Alan Pook.
Roy, 34, said: “We all went to school around here and still live around here. If you have local contacts, then it is nice to be in a local area. We're very excited.”
New dad Roy played for Brighton Boys as a schoolboy while Jack was part of a Dorothy Stringer School side which reached the national finals.
They hope to foster close links with the local schools and also the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity with donations.
