A partially-sighted man was elbowed in the head and then kicked in the knee after he accidentally bumped into a pedestrian.

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The 51-year-old victim was passing Subway in Western Road at about 5pm on 17 March when he  collided with a man on the pavement.

The men argued before the victim was elbowed in the head and kicked in the knee by the attacker.

The attacker then walked away west along the road towards Hove.

PC Marcus Clark said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a vulnerable man that seems to have started from nothing.

"Although this happened several weeks ago we are still determined to find the man involved.

"If you recognise the man in the CCTV or know where he could be, please contact us."
