Cocaine worth £16,000 found during A23 traffic stop
Thousands of pounds worth of cocaine was seized from a car during a traffic check.
Two men are set to appear in court today after police seized the haul on the A23 shortly before midnight on Wednesday.
Officers stopped a Land Rover Discovery on the northbound carriageway at Handcross Hill and seized three quarters of a pound of the class A drug. It has an estimated street value of £16,000.
Dominic Bradshaw, 32, unemployed, of Townsley Close, Luton, and Russell Williams, 49, unemployed, of no fixed address, appeared before Crawley Magistrates Court today in relation to the find
