Motorcyclist taken to hospital after hit and run
A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with a broken ankle and foot after a hit and run.
The 26-year-old rider from Liss in Hampshire was travelling on the A272 Petersfield Road in Midhurst on his red Yiying motorcycle on Wednesday at about 10.30pm. [13/5] A dark-coloured motorbike travelling in the opposite direction overtook a beige Vauxhall Safira and struck the rider near the junction with June Lane.
He was taken to Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth for treatment but was unable to describe the culprit in more detail.
