A DRIVER remains in a serious condition in hospital after his car crashed into a tree on Friday.
Police are trying to track down two drivers who may have information about the crash on the A22 at East Hoathly just after 7am. A milk float and a van were driving north on the by-pass when a white Vauxhall Corsa saloon driving south left the road and hit the tree.
The Corsa driver, a 21-year old Uckfield man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The casualty was reported to be fitting but it is unclear at present if this was as a result of the accident or a medical condition, a spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said.
Anyone with information should call 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting 246 of 15/5.
