Bothered? I certainly am.
I am amazed that the sewer outpourings of Catherine Tate's "Nan" character and her other contributions to the recent Comic Relief evening have become the fastestselling DVD of all time on the Amazon website.
I am not in my dotage yet but I really find it amazing that this drivel counts for humour nowadays.
I am not narrow-minded but I cannot call this foul use of the English language humour.
It is a very sad situation that people are buying this and thinking it funny.

How could a school refuse its pupils the chance to raise money for Comic Relief (The Argus, March 16)?
It's selfish to deny them the fun of dressing up and it's important money is given to the starving people of the world.
