A smoking ban has come into force at a large hospital trust in Sussex.
Smokers will no longer be able to light up in the buildings or grounds of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
All patients, staff, visitors, contractors and students are affected by the ban.
A three-month settling in period will come into force until the nationwide smoking ban comes into place on July 1.
The trust runs hospitals including the Royal Sussex County, the Royal Alexandra for Sick Children, both in Brighton, and the Princess Royal in Haywards Heath.
