A music legend is up for a classical music award.
Sir Paul McCartney, who has a home at Peasmarsh near Rye, has been nominated for the classical album of the year award at this year's classical Brit Awards.
The former Beatle is nominated for his oratorio Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart).
The winner will be chosen by Classic FM listeners and readers of Classic FM magazine and announced on May 3 at a ceremony at London's Royal Albert Hall.
