A pensioner attempting to walk 1,000 miles for charity has completed a tenth of his journey.
Ron Bridle has finished his first 100 miles on his way from Brighton to Inverness.
Mr Bridle, 55, was born in Brighton and spent his childhood in Moulsecoomb. He now lives in Scotland.
He is raising money for the Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimers Scotland after spending 20 years running a care business for dementia sufferers.
He set off from the Palace Pier last Tuesday. He has since walked through Sussex, Kent and is currently in Essex. He has raised nearly £4,000 of his £10,000 target.
