Old clothes and shoes donated by a town's residents have helped raise £58,000 for projects in Uganda, the Philippines and Madagascar.
Aid organisation TRAID (Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development) raised the money selling items donated by people in Seaford at a recycling bank in Richmond Road.
The funds will be used to help young Ugandans solve local environmental and health problems, establish a fishing co-operative in the Philippines and train Malagasy women how to set up businesses.
