While I myself am not an avid football supporter, I find it a major irritation that parking restriction boards are put out on all the roads leading off the top end of Dyke Road on match days.
Surely any motor vehicle parked legally is entitled to park on these streets, irrespective of the final destination of its driver?
Is this not the most incredible display of hypocrisy from Brighton and Hove City Council when just a mile further down Dyke Road in the Reigate Road area, the latest leg of the council's parking scheme is creating a parking nightmare which now stretches back as far as Queen's Park and beyond?
Perhaps the council would consider some "No American Express" boards in the Tarner Road area?
Dream on.
