A driver was seriously hurt after being thrown from his car in a crash.
The incident happened just south of the Wellshurst Golf Club in Hellingly when the 22-year-old driver of a silver Peugeot lost control of the vehicle.
The injured man, who was local, suffered a severe head injury and was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at around 9.15pm on Saturday.
