Having just read Warren Morgan's letter I am now framing it to put up on the wall and hope it doesn’t come back to haunt him at the next local election.

His examples of what ‘past leaders’ built is laughable.

The Hippodrome... Thanks for all your help on this one!

The SS Brighton... hmm, would that be the ice rink we have not had replaced?

The Brighton Centre? About to be integrated within Churchill Square (version three) and replaced at Black Rock, which also was going to be the new ice rink, and will be probably named Windy Stadium unless the ruling council (I say this as the chances of this administration being able to deliver are remote given the time required to get something built takes so long) will need a new transport system as well as a major sponsor.

If the above is possible, the Madeira Terraces would need to be overhauled as they are not a pretty sight to be the thoroughfare for a possibly prestigious arena/conference centre two miles from the centre of the town where shops and businesses need money to be spent.

As for the Regency Terraces, you might find these were created by land owners, speculators and developers who do not have to compete with politics in planning rather than common sense and for the benefits and future of our city.

Finally The King Alfred!

Our council has failed to deal with this for so long that even the travellers don’t want to stay.

His letter will be hanging on my shop wall from Saturday and gathering dust for the foreseeable future.
