Sunday was the kind of day that festival organisers dream about: brilliantly sunny with a slight cooling breeze, the sold-out grounds packed with happy dancers and the music loud and exciting.

Some of the teething problems encountered on the Saturday had been smoothed over and the atmosphere was lighter, with stewards and security able to provide more information about directions and set times than on the day before.

For many, the Sunday was the more exciting day of Wild Life Festival, with a line-up that included Annie Mac, Skepta & JME and the legendary Wu-Tang Clan as well as headliners Disclosure.

Jackmaster and Seth Troxler had the crowds heaving in the early afternoon on the WHP Stage, and young grime star Novelist played an energetic set in the Big Top.

Wu-Tang Clan, despite missing some of their biggest players, rolled through the hits with a professional calm.

It can always be expected that a new festival will encounter some organizational problems, but on the whole, Wild Life recovered well and the weekend ended on a happy, buzzing note. More of the same next year, please.
