On a visit to Hastings a couple of weeks ago to participate in a fivemile road race, I was advised to park in the Priory Meadow car park, at a cost of £1 for the whole day - what a bargain!
In Eastbourne's Arndale Centre, parking is free on Sundays - even better!
But, alas, I returned to my Brighton birthplace and parked in the Churchill Square car park on a Sunday, and had to take out a second mortgage. Come on Brighton. Can you not follow in the footsteps of other resorts and drop your over-priced car-parking fees?
