I read with horror your front page headline, "Toddler injured by motorbike yobs" (The Argus, May 3).

This is an appalling incident to have happened and thankfully the child was only hurt and not worse.

But I would like to point out that a 14 or 15-year-old thief, riding a moped does not make a motorcyclist.

I have been riding motorcycles since I was 16 (legally, I would like to point out). I am now 37 and have never run over a grannie or child.

I think your headline paints all motorcyclists to be hoodlums and delinquents.

Your headline should have read something like "Teenage scooter thief runs over child."
