A unique all-dancing, signing troupe, The Alexandras show their audiences a view of the world from a deaf perspective through the medium of music from iconic divas.
Dressed in camp and colourful costumes, the performers take crowds on a journey of love and loss while belting out classics from the likes of Abba, Doris Day, Cher, Madonna and songs from La Cage Aux Folles in a style that only three deaf drag artistes can. Directed by leading deaf director Jenny Sealey, the show features the talents of acclaimed sign songstress Caroline Parker and deaf drag artistes Mark Smith and Daryl Jackson.
- Seafront, old paddling pool, 2pm and 3.30pm, Fri, May 11
