Police attended a doctor's surgery after a patient became threatening towards staff.
Officers were called to the surgery in Chapel Street, Newhaven, on Monday after the patient, deemed unfit to be seen by doctors, became aggressive and violent with staff and customers.
A man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage. He has been released on bail.
