Driving into town last Sunday I realised that around Spring Street by Argos in Western Road what used to be single yellow lines have turned into double yellow lines.
Why was it changed? It was single yellow lines for years there - convenient for shoppers who needed to quickly pop into town to grab something without having to queue, wait, park up for 30 minutes but pay for two hours.
This is ridiculous. Not all single yellow parking obstructs the road. I find this very inconvienient and stupid and simply a way of making more money out of us.
