I was pleased to read A Wilson's letter "It's not yet a crime to own a car" (Letters, May 15).
A few weeks ago I had to take my 12-week-old baby to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Seven Dials for an operation. This stressful and worrying event was not made any easier by the recent removal of any two-hour parking bays nearby and the introduction of a few parking meters with a minimum £1.50 fee.
