Newsquest (Sussex) Limited, publishers of The Argus, theargus.co.uk,The Argus Lite and other weekly and niche publications is looking for a Website Editor to cover maternity leave.
The Website Editor is responsible for ensuring that our websites are the most up-to-date and dynamic sites in Sussex.
Reporting to The Argus Editor, you will manage and develop all the content on our sites and you will deal with all user enquiries and technical issues on a day-to-day basis.
As well as overseeing the uploading of news, pictures, videos etc, you will be expected to work with our news desk, features team and our marketing department to develop content and revenue initiatives.
Intermediate knowledge of HTML and Photoshop are required, as is knowledge of journalism law. Sub editing skills and/or editorial experience would be advantageous.
