We feel strongly that St Peter's Church should be kept open as a place of worship and also to host events and services which will bring together the community.
The church is a very important part of Brighton and has been since its establishment almost 200 years ago.
It is very beautiful and is recognised as Brighton's parish church. It helps bring together different types of people such as the young, the old and the vulnerable.
Everyone is welcome.
We have been petitioning to keep St Peter's open and we have had a great deal of support from the public. We encourage anyone who has the desire to support the church to sign the petition.
We shall be petitioning regularly every Saturday. We also encourage people to come along to services or show their support in other ways.
We need the community to support our church and be a part of its future.
