On Sunday, May 13, we had an experience of travelling on Southern Railway.
There was a replacement bus between Barham and Angmering.
Fair enough, we thought - they have to do maintenance work at the weekend.
We got off the bus at Angmering but just as we walked onto the platform, the Brighton train left the station.
It left two minutes before its official departure time of 12.18 pm.
We had to wait in the cold for 30 minutes at a station without toilets or waiting room.
