I'm delighted to be able to inform Mr Laforgue (Letters, May 15) that the spectacularly restored Dome Organ can be heard on July 29 in our continuing series of hugely popular Sunday afternoon organ concerts.
This concert, titled Piping Hot, will again be curated by local organist Michael Maine and will also feature the considerable talents of John Mann. Tickets for this event are now on sale and are already selling fast.
The Dome organ is a fantastic asset to the Brighton Dome Concert Hall and is now regularly used in our classical programme, including a number of Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra concerts in their successful 2007-08 season.
It has also featured during this year's Brighton Festival in last week's visit by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and will be played at the forthcoming Elgar Anniversary Concert on the closing day of the Festival, May 27.
