This was Final Cut's second showcase of the Festival Fringe, and once again the programme did not disappoint, as viewers were treated to an assortment of short films and music videos from local talent.

Stand-up comedian George Egg's Hotel Survival was the most inspired film of the night - original and witty, the short shows Egg demonstrating how to avoid expensive room service prices by making pasta and muffins, using only the equipment provided within his hotel room.

The other highlights were The Button Thief, a claymation story reminiscent of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, and What Really Happened To The Dinosaurs?, a clever animation warning of the dangers of smoking.
