The shed load is blocking part of the A23 northbound
A SCAFFOLD lorry shed its load on a busy dual carriageway causing three miles of queueing traffic.
The tumbling load partly blocked the A23 northbound between its Hickstead and Albourne junctions just after 8am today.
A vehicle was damaged in the process, with oil and diesel leaking on to one of the lanes.
Police were sent to the scene along with staff from the Highways Agency.
The road was cleared by about 10.30am.
