AN UNRULY plane passenger will learn his fate in the New Year after being found guilty of a homophobic behaviour towards an air steward.
Matthew Cook will be sentenced on January 22 after being found guilty of aggressive behaviour towards an air steward who he called "a queer" when told to take his seat on an easyJet flight between Barcelona and Gatwick in August.
Twenty-nine-year-old Cook, of Lingwood Close in Southampton, admitted being drunk in an aircraft, using threatening/abusive or insulting words to cause fear of unlawful violence and causing racially aggravated harassment/alarm or distress at an earlier hearing.
