A PIZZA takeaway has apologised for having a sex doll sitting on their store counter.
Domino's Pizza said the doll was "misguided marketing humour" by a member of the store team at the Shoreham branch.
Helen Tosney-Collins, spokeswoman for Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “We apologise to Shoreham residents for any offence caused by the misguided marketing humour of our store team member.
"The doll has been retired with immediate effect and our team member has been reprimanded.”
While some residents were bemused others said the doll was "crude and disrespectful" and "unacceptable".
