TWO people have been arrested in connection with a hit and run in Brighton.
A 31-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were arrested after police activity was seen in Donald Hall Road in Brighton when the man hid on top of a block of flats.
They were arrested over the hit and run incident in Montague Place in the Kemp Town area of Brighton on Thursday, January 14 when a 53-year-old was left with serious injuries after being thrown into the air.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious injury, attempting to pervert the course of justice and aggravated vehicle taking.
The woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
After the arrests police were seen taking bags of evidence from the Calendula block of flats.
