With reference to your article about a police car being parked illegally (The Argus, May 31), I do feel the public should support our police force rather than making such silly complaints.
I for one have no problems with the police parking on double yellow lines if this is the nearest place to park. In the event of an emergency I would want police officers to be able to reach their car in the quickest time possible. It is also about time politicians backed our police rather than moaning all the time.
