A 20-year-old man from Hove along with five other men were arrested after a teenager claimed she was sexually assaulted in a seaside town.
The 19-year-old told officers in the early hours of Tuesday that she was the victim of a serious sexual assault at a campsite in Newquay, Cornwall.
Six men were then arrested and taken to Newquay police station, where a 21-year-old man from Leicester was released without further action.
The other five were bailed to return to Newquay police station on July 30 pending the results of forensic analysis.
They are the 20-year-old man from Hove, a 20-year-old from Ottery St Mary, Devon, a 20-year-old from Essex, a 20-year-old from London and a 21-year-old from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
