IT'S not usually polite to ask a lady her age - but 67-million-year-old Freya's long history helped her secure a £132,000 price tag at auction.
The 4 tonne duck-billed dinosaur, Harpocrasaurus stibengi, more than doubled her guide price when the hammer when down to a telephone bidder at Summers Place auction house in Billingshurst yesterday.
Almost as big as a T-rex, Freya was a 7.5m long and 3m high herbivore.
Her skeleton was discovered in North America almost complete.
A rare sabre-toothed cat called a Hoplophoneus also exceeded expectations, selling for £32,000 to a telephone bidder.
