A BRIGHTLY painted art installation described as a modern twist on Stonehenge has been assembled on Worthing beach.
Dubbed "Doorhenge", it features five giant, partly-mirrored doorways made of painted plywood replicating the prehistoric monument in Wiltshire.
The installation will remain for two weeks, following the Summer Solstice yesterday.
The teams behind it - ECE Architecture and branding agency Creative Forager - were responsible for creating a striking mirrored beach hut on the resort's beach last year.
ECE managing director Stuart Eatock said: "We wanted to create another surprise for the people of Worthing and if that makes them look at architecture in a fresh way then that's great."
