GRAB your selfie stick and on your marks, get set, go!

Snap happy employees who love a contest can raise money for charity in a Snowdog challenge.

Once the trail of giant decorated model dogs hits the streets of Brighton and Hove later this year, businesses have the chance to form a team and take as many selfies with the pooches dotted around the city as possible.

Teams of between two and six people can take part and they have two hours to complete the challenge. Each team can only travel by foot and all members must be in all of the selfies taken.

Fancy dress is encouraged - particularly corporate colours.

It takes place in the first week of the trail on Wednesday, September 28, between 11am and 1pm and all proceeds will be donated to The Martlets Hospice.

Vicky King, marketing executive at Snowdog sponsor and challenge organiser Griffith Smith Farrington Webb, said: "We are delighted to be working with The Martlets on the selfie challenge.

"We think this will be a great way to kick off the Snowdogs by the Sea campaign. The challenge will encourage businesses and the public to really get engaged with the trail from the off.

"We are hoping to generate a real buzz around this challenge and the more teams that take part the bigger the impact will be and in turn the more funds will be raised for the vital service The Martlets provides the city."

It costs £200 to enter and selfies must be uploaded to Twitter mentioning @GSFWSolicitors, @SnowdogsBTS with the hashtag #BrightonSnowdogsSelfie.

Teams will get to join in a celebratory party at the end where the winners will be announced.

The group with the most selfies will win a prize from one of the Snowdog sponsors. In the event of a draw, a tie break question will be asked and the team with the closest answer will win.
