MORE than half of students at Lancing College secured grades of A* or A it was revealed as A-Level results were published today.
The performance saw 22% scoring A* and 77.2% A* to B.
The college said:
• 53% of pupils secured grades of A* or A
• All five offers of places at Oxford and Cambridge have been successful
• Average UCAS Score 385, which is in excess of A*AA
• The modal score is A across all pupils
• Two pupils will be going to the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music
A college spokeswoman said: "These results further reinforce Lancing’s strong reputation for consistently high academic achievement, year-on-year at A Level and with exceptional performance this year in Maths, History and Art."
