A woman accused of murdering her newborn baby will go on trial in the new year.
Gintare Suminaite, 29, allegedly killed her infant daughter on April 5, 2016.
The defendant, of Aldwick Road, Bognor R, appeared before the Old Bailey via video link from Bronzefield jail.
With the help of a Lithuanian interpreter, she spoke only to confirm her name.
Following legal discussion, the case was postponed from the provisional trial date of October 4.
Mr Justice Baker set a new date of January 16, 2017 for the start of a two-week trial at Lewes Crown Court before a High Court judge.
A further plea hearing will take place on a date to be fixed in the first two weeks of December.
