A PERSONALISED card business has launched a new charity range to raise money poorly children.

Hickory Dickory Designs, which is based in Conway Street, Hove, specialises in wooden motif cards and gifts.

Founded by its creative director Lisa Ebdon, it has been running for 19 years

She first started the brand to create unique keepsake items to celebrate and commemorate milestones and special occasions.

Now she has decided to to support the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity by creating a Rockinghorse collection, inspired by its logo.

All profits from sales of the collection will be donated to the charity.

She said: "We are very excited to be working with the charity and support such a fantastic local cause.

"After my children were born in Brighton I became aware of the work that the Rockinghorse charity carries out.

"It has only been since developing our personalised wooden keepsake cards that I have been able to offer them to the charity, and by working with them, design a range specifically for them.

"Working with the charity has added a new dimension to my business and we are delighted to be able to pledge 100 per cent of the profit from each sale."

Rockinghorse is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

It raises money for items necessary for every child’s treatment; from furnishings and toys for the wards, through to cutting-edge diagnostic machines and life-saving medical equipment.

Gifts from Hickory Dickory Designs include a personalised rocking horse birthday card, initial letter rocking horse keyring, personalised ‘get well soon’ wooden postcard and sets of five rocking horse wine glass charms.
