THE sparkly glitterball design of a Snowdog has proved popular with babies.

Jaxon Clayton, aged seven months, loved the twinkling of Disco Dog which he found in Duke Street while on the Snowdogs by the Sea trail.

His mother Kirstie Cheal, of Hangleton Road, Hove, who entered this picture in The Argus Snowdog Selfie competition, said: "He loved this glitterball Snowdog in particular."

Anyone can send their best pictures with the giant sculptures to The Argus for a chance to be crowned the Snowdog Selfie champion and win a themed prize. The entries will be published regularly in the newspaper, so keep looking out for yours to be feature.

To enter, email snowdogs@theargus.co.uk with the subject ‘Argus Snowdog Selfie Competition’.

Include a large or high resolution jpg file as an attachment with the full name and ages of everyone in the picture and where they live and a working contact telephone number by 5pm on Friday, November 18 or the entry cannot be considered.

Winners will be announced after the trail concludes and we have teamed up with Wild in Art to offer a miniature figurine of one of the Snowdogs as a prize.

The organisation is running the Snowdogs by the Sea public art trail around Brighton and Hove to raise money for The Martlets hospice and The Argus is the official media partner.
