THIS listed garden is in its autumn finest but the seasonal beauty hides some spooky goings on.
Borde Hill Garden has been hosting an exciting array of ghostly goings-on in the run-up to Halloween.
Each day this week has featured a different seasonal activity for children including storytime, craft sessions and a Harry Potter Party.
The Grade II*listed gardens, set in 200 acres of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Haywards Heath, also hosted a ghoulish garden trail and a Little Witches House.
The garden was created in the 1890s by the current owner’s great grandfather and plant expedition sponsor, Colonel Stephenson R Clarke.
The garden is open to the public 10am to 5pm weekdays and 10am to 6pm at weekends, for more details visit bordehill.co.uk.
