VIRTUAL reality technology will bring Albion fans closer to the game than ever before.

The new game simulation equipment available at home games will give Seagulls supporters a taste of what it is like being part of a match.

It is the first of its kind in the country and fans will feel like they are part of the game, getting their own personal view of player warm ups before finding themselves in the tunnel with the players, stepping out onto the pitch and celebrating goals alongside them.

Following the successful launch of the club’s new fan zone at the Seagulls recent home match against Norwich City, the new technology will be available at all home games starting from Friday, November 18 when they play Aston Villa.

This virtual reality experience is part of the renovated family concourse at the Amex which also includes interactive quizzes, photo opportunities, a batak-wall reaction game and a replica dugout.

Tom Gorringe, head of marketing at Brighton and Hove Albion, said: "The virtual reality experience is completely unique. All of the footage was shot live at a match and it takes you into the heart of the action to places that fans wouldn’t be able to go.

“We are always looking at ways to improve the match day experience at the Amex. We are proud of our reputation as providing the best experience in the EFL and it's our aim to offer new and exciting opportunities to fans of all ages."

The new aspects of the family stand are hoped to be popular with supporters and includes not just interactive features but educational aspects too bringing the game to life for all of their junior fans.

Seagull fans can experience the new virtual reality at the Amex in the family stand.

Tickets can be bought at www.seagullstickets.com. Adults must be accompanied by a junior to gain admittance to the stand.
