STAFF raised more than £1,500 for a charity which supports the disabled.
Accountancy recruitment firm Grafton Banks Finance - based in Western Road, Hove - donated the proceeds of a quiz night to Brighton group Extratime.
The charity in Boundary Road provides after-school and holiday care for disabled children, providing parent carers with valuable respite or the opportunity to return to work or to pursue training opportunities.
Held at The Better Half pub in Hove, more than 50 quizzers were put through their paces on a variety of topics as well as taking part in a raffle and a game of ‘heads or tails’.
Owner and director Nigel Jeyes said: "Extratime is a really fantastic charity providing an invaluable resource to parents and carers across Sussex.
"As we continue to see how they support the local community it gives us enormous pleasure to support the incredible work they do.
"Thank you to everyone who came to take part your generosity is much appreciated."
