A TEENAGE boy in distressed state on a footbridge was successfully talked down by police officers.
The incident prevented vehicle access into Brighton Marina between 2.48pm and 6.25pm.
Officers closed Marine Drive, Brighton, while they dealt with the sensitive issue.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "The boy was persuaded to come down off the footbridge at 6.25pm by officers and the road was re-opened."
