A MAN who breached his suspended jail sentence has been returned to prison.
Landscape gardener Charlie Banks , 18, of Springfield Drive, Rye, was sentenced to a five months suspended sentence after cocaine, cannabis, phones, scales, bags were found at his home in July 2016.
However, on March 22 he was arrested in Rye after being found in possession of cannabis.
Brighton Magistrates’ Court activated his suspended sentence and gave him an extra 14 days for possession of cannabis.
PC Paul Eastes of the Rye neighbourhood policing team said: “There is concern about the supply of drugs in Rye, but as in this case, we will act upon reports of supply or anti-social behaviour related to the drug dealing in the area.
