TWO people have died after a car crashed into a garden.
The crash happened around 10.45pm on Tuesday on the A281 Brighton Road, near Lower Beeding, Horsham.
A black Vauxhall Meriva travelling south left the road and crashed into a garden some 200 metres north of the A281’s junction with Picts Lane. No other car was involved.
The driver, a 25-year-old woman, and her passenger, a man in his late teens, both died at the scene. Their bodies were taken to East Surrey Hospital, Redhill.
All emergency services were on the scene and Surrey and Sussex air ambulance was also deployed.
Roads around the scene were closed until around 5.40am this morning.
Sussex Police are asking witnesses or people who may have seen the car being driven shortly beforehand to contact police by ringing 101, quoting Operation Waddington.
