Eastbourne Pier
A MAN has died after falling from Eastbourne Pier.
Emergency services were called to the Grade II* listed structure in Grand Parade, Eastbourne, shortly after 12pm on Friday to reports that a man had fallen from the pier into the sea.
The man was pulled from the water and despite the efforts of paramedics he sadly died at the scene.
The East Sussex coroner's office has been informed
