I WAS so pleased to read that The Argus Appeal charity has received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
I was one of the band of cyclists mentioned in the article and I have to say the ride from Brighton to Paris was great fun and very well organised.
It was a privilege to ride in order to raise money for The Argus Appeal and The Martlets hospice.
So a personal thanks to Elsa and her team, particularly Howard Blanks, the unsung hero of many charity events for the Argus Appeal.
Congratulations!
