I do trust that when the vile drunken creatures who forced two beautiful shire horses to bolt on Sunday outside a pub in Peacehaven are apprehended they feel the full weight of the law on them, as well as being prosecuted by the RSPCA (The Argus, July 11).
They could have caused the horses' deaths. Shires are the most wonderful gentle creatures and do not deserve to be treated that way.
