ONE of the UK’s leading comedy magicians – and a Brighton resident for 30 years – has been announced as the compere for the 12th edition of the Brighton and Hove Business Awards.

Paul Zenon has appeared in venues all over the world ranging from the Mirage, Luxor, Orleans and Tropicana Casinos in Las Vegas, to the London Palladium, the Burj Al Arab and the Kempinski Resort in the Seychelles.

Television credits include White Magic with Paul Zenon on ITV1, The Culture Show on BBC2, The One Show on BBC1 and a special guest in Dictionary Corner on Channel Four’s Countdown .

In 2015 Paul was the recipient of the Carlton Award for Comedy presented to him at the Magic Circle headquarters in London, where he is a Member of the Inner Circle with Gold Star, the highest degree attainable.

This year he was presented with the Ken Dodd Award for Comedy by the man himself.

Paul will be presenting 15 trophies to some of Brighton’s biggest and best – and youngest and newest – who make this year’s Brighton and Hove Business Awards at the Proud Country House in Stanmer Park on Thursday September 14.

Tickets costs £80 plus VAT and include a drinks reception, three course meal and after party until 2am.
