Woman dies poolside at Camber Sands holiday park
A WOMAN has died at a popular holiday park.
She was struggling poolside at the Pontins Camber Sands holiday park in New Lydd Road, Camber, this afternoon, and died at the scene.
Staff performed CPR, but were unable to revive the woman.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "At about midday on Wednesday, police received a report of a medical episode involving a woman at the side of a pool at Pontins Holiday Park in New Lydd Road, Camber.
"Despite the best efforts of staff who performed CPR, the woman was sadly pronounced dead.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer is due to be informed."
